This role has the ability to be fully remote in the Western Region of the United States.

The Director of Global Strategic Marketing will be responsible for;

Understanding all aspects of the business and partner with executive leadership to define strategy and successful criteria for the future.

Supports definition of organization’s priorities. Translates strategy into defined tactics, programs/projects priorities, and timelines and ensures alignment and attainment of enterprises strategic plans to turn strategy into reality.

Strategic priorities: Lead Solta strategic plan, lead and coordinate annual operating plans; ensures critical interdependencies are flagged and addressed with functional teams in a timely manner. Scenario planning completed as needed.

Works with functional leaders to define and/or quantify internal project investment trade-off scenarios, as required.

Create business cases and lead key efforts for business development deals, work through organic and inorganic innovation priorities with Global Strategic Marketing, R&D, and all key functions, etc.

Partners with leadership to define and drive end to end execution of critical commercial and operational innovation projects.

Applies general business, financial, and scientific knowledge across all projects to ensure seamless execution of innovation plans.

Helps define clear success measures and ongoing performance monitoring.

Partners with Solta teams define, drive process improvement efficiencies, and/or establish standard operating practices for defined business priorities and/or needs identified by functional teams .

Monitor external market trends that may impact Solta’s strategic plans, internal development activities, and regional commercial strategies; work with appropriate teams to develop recommendations to prepare and/or respond.

Responsible for the development implementation and monitoring of line of business planning and project activities.

Leads and coordinate leadership team meetings, prioritizing agenda, ensuring the right topics are discussed at the right time.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a Bachelors is required in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience (Strategic Marketing, Business Development, Strategy, Project Management) including prior leadership experience and 3 year strategic planning; Master’s degree preferred.

Life sciences, pharma or medical device experience is required.

Analytical skills required: market model building, business case building, financial forecast, ad-hoc analysis for key business or investment decisions, operating plan building and execution.

Strategic and innovative thinker and self-starter with the ability to operate with a great degree of discretion and resourcefulness to execute on business goals.

Business development (M&A) and deal integration experience preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties.

Experience managing mid to large size projects in a complex matrixed medical device or pharmaceutical company or life sciences.

Experience interacting effectively and positively with senior management, provide thought leadership, and adept at influencing decision-making.

Highly collaborative, working hand-in-hand with the functional teams and the overall Solta business, to achieve desired results.

Demonstrated leadership skills to identify opportunities, bring teams together, and help implement solutions.

Travel as necessary.

As required by law, Bausch Health provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in the US. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For this role, the range of starting pay for this role is 180-225K.
