Head of Design (Design Services)

Role Overview:We are seeking a Head of Design to lead and expand our brand identity and design practice. This role involves a blend of hands-on design work and leadership. Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, Experience, you will collaborate closely with various teams, including Brand and Business Strategy, Org and Culture Strategy, and Client Engagement.Key Responsibilities:-Design (70%):Lead and execute holistic Brand Identity systems.Set creative vision and direction for design projects.Work across various brands, including consumer, tech, startups, and B2B.Inspire and lead client project teams.Balance client business needs with the goal of creating excellent design work.Guide clients through the design process.-Leadership (30%):Build and enhance the visual identity practice.Develop company-wide design processes and practices.Ensure strategies inspire designers to create.Advocate for the power of design and educate on AI's role in design.Collaborate on new business proposals and client opportunities.Oversee career development and recruitment for the design team.Qualifications:9+ years of design and identity experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.Expertise in logo design and typography.Diverse portfolio across styles and industries.Strong perspective on AI's role in design.Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and other design tools.Ability to collaborate with senior and executive clients.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Robust network within the design industry.Experience in brand consultancy, design agency, or creative agency preferred.
