Summary of Position:The Senior Innovation Pipeline Manager is responsible for developing and implementing JBSS's innovation strategies and plans including our Snack Nut, Trail Mix, and Bars capabilities. This position is responsible for the strategy, planning, commercialization, P&L, and analysis of JBSS innovation projects delivering against volume, revenue, and profit goals. This is a critical role that leads and accelerates the transformation of JBSS's growth trajectory in new categories.Functions of Position:Drives critical innovation projects including the cross-functional team and supporting the technical and leadership teams to ensure a best-in-class commercialization with consumer-validated propositions that are operationally feasible and financially viable.Develops innovation strategies behind our Private Label portfolio to fuel JBSS growth. Consistently assesses and adjusts based on trends, in-market performance, customer and brand strategies. Competitive analysis, and insights. Effectively communicates that strategy and milestones back to the organization in key meetings and forums.Leads P&L development including identification of size of price, pricing, any required trade/marketing support, formula optimization, and manufacturing efficiencies to drive innovation profitably.Leads a thorough post-launch analysis to proactively diagnose opportunities and identify optimizations with prioritized innovations, including analysis of shipment and consumption data. Partners with Senior Director of Innovation, Insights and other stakeholders to strengthen our innovation capabilities and ensure a robust, timely, and profitable delivery of the three-to-five-year pipeline.QualificationsEducation, Experience, and Knowledge:Bachelor's degree in marketing or related business discipline; MBA highly desirable.Five plus years of experience in a marketing role with a consumer products company, preferably in food.Experience with translating insights into action, driving profitable growth and new product development.Experience leading cross-functional teamsSkills and Competencies:Consistent drive for resultsDemonstrates strategic agility and creative problem solving.Strong analytical skills, as well as business and financial acumen.Strong collaborator with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and project management.Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity.Strong, clear written, verbal and presentation communication skills.Comfortable managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.JBSS is an Equal Opportunity Employer:All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or status as a protected veteran.
