In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Applies user-centered design principles in optimizing catalog and ordering pages, design tools, shopping cart checkout and account order history pages
Researches the competitive landscape and explores opportunities for innovation in life science e-commerce user experience, including prototypes for ordering and design tools. Influences key stakeholders to adapt to solutions that enable IDT to maintain consistent customer solutions.
Leads interaction design of transactional user interfaces, providing guidance on design standards
Collaborates with developers, customer service, product line managers and marketing team as the user experience lead to provide direction in building user-friendly, modern and scalable e-commerce website
Develops and maintains web style guide for developers to utilize in creation of new pages
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 6 years of experience in web and interaction design
Minimum of 6 years of experience designing, validating and implementing complex web applications for technical users required
Extensive working knowledge of web ordering systems and web technology and ability to support developer teams by delivering production-ready, customer-tested design specifications.
Ability to explain how information architecture, user research and other user experience considerations impact online sales and drive business growth.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel – 20%
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Web development (JavaScript/html/css) experience preferred
4+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
Experience working with shared codebases

The salary range for this role is $105,000- $120,00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
