We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Director to join our Change and Innovation Agency (C!A®) team. C!A, a member of the Vimo® family, is a consulting firm focused specifically on helping government agencies increase capacity to do more good. For nearly two decades, states, counties and municipalities across the country have turned to C!A to help them fix broken business processes and systems to improve capacity and meet program goals.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing and Communications Director is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of strategic marketing and communication initiatives to enhance the company's brand, market presence, and internal and external communications. This role involves working with a team, developing creative marketing campaigns, managing public and media relations, and coordinating marketing and outreach events. The Director will ensure that all marketing strategies align with the company's goals and objectives, driving growth and engagement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities, work schedules, and location may change based on evolving business needs.Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive business growth.Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to ensure the company remains competitive.2. Manage Communications:

Oversee all internal and external communications, ensuring consistency and alignment with the company's brand and message.Draft and edit press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and other communication materials.3. Event Planning and Coordination:

Plan, organize, and promote marketing events, trade shows, conferences, and webinars.Ensure the successful execution of events, managing logistics and post-event follow-up.4. Marketing Campaigns:

Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.Track and report on campaign performance, using data to optimize future initiatives.5. Content Creation:

Collaborate with the team to produce high-quality content that engages target audiences and supports marketing objectives.Ensure all content reflects the company's voice and brand guidelines.6. Budget Management:

Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.Monitor expenses and provide regular budget reports to senior leadership.7. Other Duties:

Assist with special projects and other marketing and administrative tasks as needed.WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

General office environment.The position is fully remote but will require occasional travel to industry or company events.BENEFITS:

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of seven years of experience in marketing and communications, with at least three years in a leadership role.Proven expertise in strategic planning, brand management, and marketing analytics.Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong attention to detail.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, SEO, and email marketing.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.Ability to maintain and uphold highly confidential and sensitive information.Preference for individuals with experience working in government services.
