Associate Designer

We are hiring an Associate Product Designer to join a top entertainment company in Orlando, FL. This position will run for 6 months and will be based in office 4 days per week.Responsibilities:Concept, design, sketch, and give direction on product submission from licensees.Create and present trend-right, consumer centric product lines that feature market leading innovation and deliver price/value for our consumers.Execute product and licensed packaging approvals through online systems an collaborative approval meetings, ensuring high quality standards in character execution, in-depth storytelling, color, material, form and function while maximizing profitability, as well as onboarding new partnersCreate and/or partner on key stakeholder presentations, and retail pitch decksCollaborate with internal partners and cross-company partners to design and approve all productsMonitor competitors, product trends and innovation and market dynamicsResearch initial seasonal trends by categoryKeep abreast of consumer trends and communicate opportunities where these can be appliedMust demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple design projects within deadlinesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in design related field (e.g. industrial design, toydesign)3+ years of experience in a similar roleStrong verbal and written communication skillsSolid negotiating skillsPhotoshop and Illustrator requiredIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page Distinction
