We are looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to lead our Email Channel for Alexa Marketing.

This role requires technical and operational knowledge of email service provider platforms and safe send requirements, experience optimizing email performance (A/B testing, experimentation roadmaps, etc.), basic email template coding and editing, and content development. You must have a passion for Email marketing, data analysis, and understanding customers. You have an eye for compelling content and CX, an aptitude for cross-functional partnership, and a passion for testing and measuring. You are an Email marketing thought leader (expert), with first-class written and verbal communication skills, the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines, top-notch organizational skills, experience managing expectations and dependencies, and deliver data-driven results.

Key job responsibilities

Drive end-to-end Alexa Email product marketing strategy including defining and implementing channel marketing best practices and requirements

Define experimentation roadmap, regularly optimizing programs based on learnings

Own development, execution, and optimization for email strategy to support onboarding of new customers

Own customer newsletter program development, strategy, content, KPIs, and measurement that result in impactful business results

Drive Email subscriber acquisition strategy

Develop and analyze channel KPIs, proactively reporting results and learnings across the organization, partner teams, and leadership

Ability to code/edit basic HTML email templates, with CSS knowledge

Proactively mitigate risk through implementation of channel guardrails and best practices, build channel SOPs, and document best practices

Bring and test innovative ideas for how to best drive business results through the Email channel

Basic Qualifications

6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

4+ years Email specific marketing experience

Deep analytical abilities, especially for experimental design and analysis

Knowledge of HTML at the intermediate level

Experience communicating results to senior leadership

Technical competency and ability to learn new products and work with technology teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
