The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the planning and execution of marketing strategies in grassroots events, partnerships, and community engagement. This role requires a focus on aligning strategies with product marketing objectives, target audience personas, and brand identity. The Director will also oversee the activities that bring the company to digital and in-person spaces where current and prospective users gather and will collaborate across marketing teams to maintain a consistent message and execute shared KPIs. People management is a key aspect of the position, including leading a team of marketing professionals and collaborating with product marketing and business development teams to establish partnerships that align with marketing goals. Applicants should have a minimum of 8 years of marketing experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role, and a preference for experience in community engagement, events, customer support, partnerships, and communications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in user acquisition for consumer-facing product-led growth companies and a history of driving outcomes with grassroots marketing strategies. Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, budget management, and a clear, concise communication style are essential. The role demands a high level of adaptability, the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, and a commitment to using data and experimentation to optimize performance.
