Club Pilates Overview:Club Pilates is a leading boutique fitness studio offering group reformer Pilates classes for all ages and fitness levels. We are passionate about helping people achieve their fitness goals through our fun, supportive, and engaging community.Position SummaryClub Pilates is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Studio Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Southwood Tallahassee studio.
The ideal candidate will be based year-round in Tallahassee, highly organized, self-motivated, and possess strong sales and customer service skills.
This role requires someone who is good with people, hands-on, willing to tackle a variety of tasks to ensure our studios run smoothly and maintain a welcoming environment for our members.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Member Engagement/New Member Acquisition and Retention:
Work with Regional Manager development and execution of monthly goals; successfully implement at studioDrive membership sales and ensure a high conversion rate of prospectsEngage with members to promote retention and handle membership upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, freezes, inquiries, and collect outstanding duesAchieve high-level proficiency of Club Ready studio management systemStrategically manage sales, marketing, and member engagement initiatives, including in-studio, in the community, and on our social channels
Plan and execute community events and partnerships to increase studio visibility and attract new membersSeek and identify opportunities to increase brand exposure
Operational Management:
Ensure the studio is kept clean, adhering to our established cleaning proceduresAddress any maintenance issues promptlyManage studio inventory, including retail, cleaning, toiletry, and office suppliesEnsure all studio systems and equipment are in excellent working conditionBe on call to handle urgent issues such as plumbing, roof leaks, malfunctioning equipment, etc.
Compliance & Administrative Duties:
Ensure the studio operates in compliance with all Club Pilates, legal and regulatory, business, and financial guidelines and proceduresTrack and report expenses, maintaining accurate financial recordsManage and document incident reports and ensure timely resolutionHandle payment and refund inquiries with accuracy and professionalismReport to Regional Manager on studio performance and operational matters.
Collaborate and coordinate with North Tallahassee Studio Manager.Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports as requiredTeam Leadership:
Train and supervise new and existing sales associatesModel superior customer service and attentiveness to detailsCreate and maintain staff schedules, stepping in as needed to cover shiftsFoster a positive, upbeat, and friendly work environment
Qualifications and SkillsProven experience in a management role, preferably in a sales or customer service environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailMust be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via emailAbility to work independently and take initiativeAbility to manage and drive four revenue streams: memberships, retail, private training, and teacher trainingAbility to excel in a fast changing, diverse environmentAbility to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgementAn affinity and passion for fitnessSolid writing and grammar skillsHighly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesPositive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a passion for helping othersProfessional, punctual, reliable, and neatTrustworthy and able to handle confidential informationAbility to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general publicWillingness to get hands dirty and address any task necessary to ensure studio successCompensation
