e-Commerce Marketing Events Communication Manager

Job Description:
The Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans for marketing events. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event promotion, brand consistency, and optimal attendee engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event marketing, communication strategies, and project management.
Responsibilities:
Collecting event and sale information from merchants and making it available to creators is a key growth lever for shopping and collect event information from various sources, populate it in our central campaign tracker which is then used to share the information out to creators via scaled comms levers.
Gather and analyse event and sales data from merchants, including sales performance, attendee feedback, and other relevant metrics.
Act as the primary point of contact for merchants, ensuring they provide necessary event and sales information in a timely manner.
Develop and implement communication strategies to promote events across various channels, including social media, email, and press releases.
Create compelling content for event related materials such as invitations, newsletters, social media posts, and website updates.
Creating and maintaining promo screenshot database to show merchants how their events were featured Fielding event promotions questions.
Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure cohesive messaging and successful event execution.
Post-Event Inquires and Recaps from merchants.
Ensure all event communications align with the company’s brand voice and messaging guidelines.
Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of communication strategies, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in event marketing, communication, or public relations, with a proven track record of managing successful events.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for design and branding.
Experience with event management platforms and technologies is a plus.
