landing page to learn more.Building a performance advertising business and growing revenue in key international markets are top Pinterest priorities for 2024 and beyond. The Sr. Corporate Strategy Lead, Performance will work closely with our VP Performance and our global teams to drive impact across our performance advertising and international revenue strategic priorities.

What you'll do:

Drive efforts to transform Pinterest into a true performance advertising business : Help steer our efforts to build a lower funnel business. Unlock opportunities and remove blockers across Sales, Product and other key XFN teams to drive rapid progress. Collaborate with cross-functional team to execute and sharpen our in-year Lower Funnel Revenue strategy while simultaneously developing our 18-month business transformation plan to become a true Performance business.

Identify opportunities and risks in a data-driven way : Identify efforts that are showing signs of success and develop processes & playbooks to rapidly scale them. Continuously scrutinize our lower funnel business. Identify, size and escalate major risks and opportunities to accelerate / mitigate issues. Scope and manage complex, XFN projects, owning the process of gathering, extracting, and compiling data across sources via relevant tools (e.g., SQL) that serve as the foundation for strategic discussion / decision making. Be a strategic partner to x-company stakeholders (PM, Sales, BD, PMM, Eng, etc) by developing, scoping and executing key analyses that drive decision making, alignment and acceleration of the performance strategy.

Communication : Synthesize large data sets into a clearly articulated narrative with actionable insights, identifying areas of opportunity against top business and product objectives. Effectively present and communicate actionable insights and recommendations to executive team, product and business leaders, and other cross-functional partners, in order to influence decisions.

Manage operational cadences : You'll coordinate and drive several key reporting and meeting cadences related to our lower funnel efforts and progress.

Next frontier of performance unlocks : Partner closely with our Product teams to ensure Pinterest is invested in the next frontier of performance unlocks, including both ad products and organic efforts (e.g. shopping) that have direct, material impact on the trajectory of our performance business.

Drive increases in Sales productivity : Partner closely with Sales leaders, Client Partners, and Account Managers to develop recommendations for increasing seller productivity, advertiser performance, and revenue. This includes products we'll need to build, as well as opportunities to upskill seller capabilities with respect to selling performance products.

What we're looking for:

10+ years of experience

within product management, program management, or corporate strategy.

Pinterest and ads knowledge : You'll need to deeply understand Pinterest's products and its position in the market. Additionally, you must possess significant ads expertise in order to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Proven project / program management skills : Experienced at running forums globally across many functions, etc. Scope & manage complex, XFN projects

Trusted collaborator : You'll partner closely with a variety of teams across the company, including Product, Sales, Engineering, and more. You'll need to have deep and trusted relationships with these teams and work together in service of key shared strategic priorities.

Skilled communicato r: Ability to communicate clearly and convincingly across a wide range of internal and external audiences.

Customer centricity : You'll work with both external and internal customers, and must deeply understand their needs and requirements.

Data-driven : Ability to manipulate large data sets with high dimensionality and complexity; fluency in SQL.

Fast-paced and comfortable with some ambiguity : Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work streams and deliverables in a fast-paced, matrixed organization structure.

This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
