Fictiv is looking for a strategy and results-focused Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) who has experience in various go-to-market motions and is a greatleader and coach; a change agent who wants to work with an exciting venture-backed start-up that is unlocking the potential of cutting-edge manufacturers of all sizes by delivering a Fortune-500 global supply chain and simplifying sourcing of custom mechanicals from prototype all the way to production and beyond.Impact In This Role

The right candidate will be well versed in high-growth B2B marketing strategies, including growth marketing to support low-touch customer acquisition and “look-alike” industry marketing, lifecycle marketing strategies to support customer activation and deeper penetration of high-value ICPs, and account-based marketing to support our high-touch relationship sellers in achieving healthy customer lifetime value targets.Additionally, our CMO will manage the Product Marketing team, operate the launch cadence at Fictiv in close collaboration with our Chief Product Officer, develop our positioning and messaging, and look to refine our durable right to win. Finally, the CMO will manage all aspects of our branding and creative strategy, digital presence and related communities, content and marketing communications, and PR and Brand Awareness strategies, from managing our press agency to social media pages to events and tradeshows.As a member of our Executive Leadership Team ,

the CMO will report to the CEO. Through his vision and the overall business strategy defined in our operating manual, the CMO will be responsible for helping grow the company brand through thought leadership activities, public relations, social media, etc., as well as developing an integrated marketing strategy with the CRO to drive and hit growth targets.What You’ll Be Doing

Be the driver on all marketing and branding topics between all functionsIncrease brand awareness by benchmarking our current position and driving a plan to grow our brandCoach and drive our growth marketing team to ensure we are pushing our messaging through the right marketing channels to acquire and activate prospects and customers, i.e. channels such as our website, SEO, SEM, EMAIL, etc.Research our offerings and target markets and personas, as well as the entire customer journey, to make better decisions on competitive marketing strategies and tactics overallManage and control the marketing budget for all inbound and outbound marketing programs and peopleEnsure execution of digital as well as face-to-face marketing campaigns and showsExecute online and offline marketing campaigns customized to fill and grow the lead pipeline with high-quality leadsPlan, organize and execute various marketing events such as prospect and customer events, conferences, exhibitionsProduce high-quality content for campaign and sales enablement purposes such as market surveys, Webinars, whitepapers, Case Studies, Blogs, Videos, etc.Measure the performance of all activities and campaigns, assess them against goals (ROI, Key Performance Indicators), and adjust strategy & activities to achieve themProvide ongoing reporting, develop actionable insights, test and learn approaches to new initiativesDesired Traits

You have held executive leadership roles at a 100m+ company at the VP level and have helped those companies grow and scale to the $500M or billion dollar levelYou are a visionary with a driven personality. You are highly analytical and strategic but also creative and hands-onYou have a proven track record, experience, and success metrics across all disciplines of marketing (product, branding, strategy, social media, communications, business development)You have a strong understanding of inbound and outbound marketing for the enterprise, as well as “land and expand” B2B salesYou have experience in both transactional and enterprise go-to-market modelsYou have demonstrable experience positioning a company in a competitive market and winning market shareYou possess an ROI-driven approach to marketing and strong attention to detail - you know your CAC, LTV, and ROI numbers and know how and when to invest or pull back according to those metricsYou have an experimental approach and have a bias towards decision making and actionYou are a clear, effective communicator and have experience scaling companies beyond $100MYou are a collaborative, transparent, and hands-on environmentYou have a good eye for design and creative assetsYou have a selfless approach, a low ego, and a high intellectual curiosityYou are willing to admit loss and/or errors and learn and grow from themPhysical Demands
