As the Marketing and Business Development Manager, you will develop and implement marketing programs for Park Place based on strategic goals. The three main focus areas are Marketing for Leasing, Marketing for Sales, and Marketing for Business Development.

To succeed, you should have:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, or 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Proficient in PC, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop.

Solid organizational, time management, and delegation skills.

Social media expertise, including experience posting for a company.

Your responsibilities as the Marketing & Business Development Manager – Park Place

will include:

Strategic Marketing and Planning

Develop and execute comprehensive, research-based strategic marketing plans to enhance asset value, drive sales, and generate revenue.

Monitor, control, and adjust marketing budgets and revenue goals to meet year-end projections.

Develop a strategic public relations and media plan, coordinating ongoing research to support marketing and leasing efforts.

Event and Promotion Management

Plan and execute center events and sales promotions to increase foot traffic and tenant sales.

Oversee media buys, promotional content creation, and performance analysis of promotional programs.

Research and recommend appropriate events for center participation and sponsorship.

Tenant and Community Relations

Develop and cultivate relationships with store managers to maximize foot traffic, sales, and exposure.

Implement opportunities for tenant cross-promotions to improve sales.

Maintain relationships with community groups and coordinate community relations programs.

Digital Marketing and Communication

Lead the strategic vision for the center’s website and digital platforms, ensuring optimization and user-friendly interfaces.

Monitor digital analytics and strategically increase the impact of digital content.

Collaborate on social media content and digital marketing programs to effectively promote the center and its retailers.

Leadership and Team Development

Manage and mentor the Marketing Coordinator, defining measurable goals and providing regular coaching and career development input.

Ensure leasing collateral is current and accurate, collaborating with the Leasing and Ownership Team.

Oversee the procurement and development of programs involving outside consultants, such as PR firms and advertising agencies.

Market and Sales Analysis

Conduct market studies to understand retail sales performance and track key retailer and category trends.

Review monthly sales reports and adjust marketing strategies based on sales performance data.

Stay informed about competitive properties and market demographics.

Business Development

Source and develop local, regional, and national clients for advertising and sponsorship opportunities.

Create and update business development collateral, custom decks, and demographic research materials.

Manage the implementation of business development deliverables and activations in the common area.
