Everlaw is looking for a highly-motivated and self-starter product designer with meticulous attention to detail and a process-driven mindset to lead the design of Bluebook, Everlaw's design system.

You will combine your drive for pixel-perfection with a pragmatic approach that strikes the right balance between flexibility and robustness in the components you create. Your product mindset and focus on collaboration will be the primary driver behind our design system's roadmap. Your work will matter - the experience you design for using Bluebook will streamline the front-end development process and make it more intuitive to design for Everlaw, resulting in a more modern, consistent, and accessible experience for Everlaw users.

You will be a part of our Product organization which guides the strategy and development of our products. We deliver value to our users by setting our product roadmap and executing on high-quality product development with efficiency and keen attention to what users need. Our products serve as the fundamental driver of value to our users, and support the success of our business. We take pride in not only creating a powerful and intuitive user experience, but in supporting users with our product documentation and certification program.

You will learn the ins and outs of the Everlaw platform through a series of training modulesDesign and define interaction patterns through components, documentation, and prototypesProvide respectful, insightful, and actionable feedback

to other designers' components and platform feature work to ensure an elegant and cohesive user experienceEnsure an effective and accessible

implementation of a high-quality design system through regular collaboration with Engineering partnersAudit and revise the component library on an ongoing basis

to ensure it remains production-ready, meets our standards, and remains an effective toolDesign increasingly complex and overarching components

with the big picture in mind while caring for the small details and their downstream impactPartner with product designers

to identify gaps in the platform, and advocate for additions to the design system roadmap that will address themAct as an owner for building and maintaining Bluebook, Everlaw's design system,

setting the vision and the standards for brand alignment, quality, consistency, and accessibilityImprove our design and product development processes

by collaborating with the teams and using your process-driven mindset to address inefficienciesBe a passionate ambassador for our design system , championing standards and accessibility within the Product Design team and cross-functionally on Everlaw-wide initiativesAbout youYou have a history of elevating design teams through systems work

like React, HTML, and CSS that enables you to represent the Product Design team and work effectively with the Engineering teamPlusesYou have at least 5 years designing experiences for B2B SaaS products, including 3 years designing for a B2B SaaS design systemYou have an aptitude for strategic product thinking that makes you a distinguished partner to the Product Design and Engineering teamsYou have experience creating visual assets such as illustrations and icon familiesYou have experience leading design sprints and workshopsYou have experience advocating for accessibility and can advise on coding practices with accessibility in mindBenefitsThe expected salary range for this role is between $140,000.00 - $180,000.00. The final offered salary will be dependent upon many factors including the candidate's experience and skills.
