Job DescriptionAssociate Director Parasiticides (P4 Role)This role is responsible for the short- and long-term commercial growth of the Parasiticides brands in the United States reporting to the Director Marketing Parasiticides within our Companion Animal Business Unit.The Associate Director will have primary responsibility to grow brand recommendation and loyalty for the Bravecto and Sentinel portfolio of >$500M in the US. He/she will lead the development and implementation of the veterinary and consumer marketing strategies and tactical execution for Bravecto and Sentinel Brands.This individual will lead and manage the brand messaging, internal and external communications including all marketing, advertising, product pricing and related consumer, trade and industry programs. They will be responsible for developing and delivering the brand portfolio’s annual and long-term financial plan including topline sales, spending and profit contribution.He/she will also work closely with sales leadership to ensure priorities are aligned and execution of programs are maximized. The ideal candidate has experience in strategic marketing in pharma or consumer products, consumer campaign development and media planning/management, agency management, strong analytical skills, people management and cross-functional partnerships in a matrixed organization.  Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Gains an understanding of the parasiticide market, current and future competitors to develop the strongest short, medium, and long-term strategy. Manages the development and delivery of the brand's annual marketing planDefines segmentation, positioning, messaging, go-to-market, and lifecycle strategies based on market research, competitive analysis, and an unwavering focus on the customerWorks with data analytics team to assess monthly performance and leads Quarterly Business ReviewWorks closely with Finance to oversee management of monthly expenses and samples to ensure company goals and targets are met.Leads the Field Brand Team made up of select sales representatives and veterinarians to keep a pulse on veterinary channel activities, what is working well and areas for improvementLeads annual marketing mix analysis for brand planningWork collaboratively with legal, regulatory, and scientific partners on development and approval of marketing assetsCollaborates with Global Marketing to ensure global strategies are aligned with local market needs and support the US short, medium and long-term strategies for the brandsManages two Sr Brand ManagersEducation:Bachelor’s degree requiredMBA degree preferredRequiredAt least 8 years relevant marketing experience in pharma or consumer goods.
