OverviewTo provide assistance and aid in the formulating of user-centered design strategies and solutions for digital experiences and initiatives using consumer insights and inputs gathered from research, psychology, and user experience (UX) best practices. Change agent within organization. To assist peers with research and design thinking workshops. Works under supervision from higher level peers and/or leadership on moderately complex projects and analysis.ResponsibilitiesAid in the synthesizing of moderately complex user data from various sources, providing deliverables and support to lead strategistsAnalyze the user experience by evaluating the experiences end-to-end, seeking out opportunities for improvementApply moderate analysis in support of member research and intelligence team (MRID) efforts with qualitative and quantitative user research in support of projects to formulate digital solutionsAssist business partners and researchers, designers, and experience owners to solve basic to moderately complex user experience problems and deliver resultsAssist lead strategists with the development of UX strategies spanning multiple channels, touchpoints, and contextsAssist with defining project objectives - vision and strategyBuild relationships that help the user experience design definition effort succeedCollect and assimilate customer data to assist with guiding user experience and design strategiesOriginate new concepts, strategies or innovative approaches to user experiences and designsParticipate in the development and maintenance of experience and journey maps throughout life cycle of projectsParticipate in design thinking workshops, experience and journey mapping workshops, and alignment activities with cross functional teams and leadership that enable the creation of a shared empathy, vision and alignment for specific experience strategies and tacticsSupport basic to moderately complex projects and research initiatives within the business unit and/or across the organizationSupport user experience teams with assignments across work streamsOther duties as assignedQualificationsExperience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goalsExperience in researching, compiling, and documenting data, business processes, and workflowExperience interpreting requirements into executable design solutionsWorking knowledge of and/or experience with mapping of ecosystems, experiences, customer journeys, and service blue printsWorking knowledge of and/or experience with design thinking principles and techniquesWorking knowledge of agile methodologiesWorking knowledge of best practices for web and mobile-based content, tools, and formsWorking knowledge of design fundamentals, such as color theory, typography and compositionWorking knowledge of the processes of sketching, conceptual design, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testingWorking knowledge of user centered design principles, visual design, user behavior and interaction modelsEffective cross-group collaboration and persuasion skillsEffective organizational, planning and time management skillsEffective research, analytical, and problem solving skillsEffective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisionsEffective skill in using data communications and storageEffective skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail while meeting deadlinesEffective verbal and written communication skillsEffective word processing and spreadsheet software skillsDesired QualificationsExperience in Graphic Design, User-Centered Design/Human-Computer Interaction, Design Thinking, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceKnowledge of web, mobile and application designHuman Factors Institute Certified AnalystDesign Thinking CertificationHours:
