We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Event Marketing Manager who is a collaborative team player with big ideas, and someone willing to dig in on any details necessary to ensure success. In a highly visible role amongst senior leadership, the ideal candidate will support our global calendar of third-party conferences and proprietary programs to enhance Elastic's brand awareness, foster lead engagements, and create new sales opportunities.You'll Spend Your TimePlanning and executing events from conception to completion, ensuring all logistical details are meticulously handled and the experience maximizes engagement and value.Leading vendor relationships and partnering with agencies and service organizations to achieve event goals efficiently and effectively.Collaborating with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to understand their business targets and strategize alignment with the company's brand and messaging.Creating and managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.Working in partnership with Procurement to negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to optimize resources and secure all required InfoSec and Privacy approvals.Tracking return on investment, engagement, and audience feedback to measure results, assess opportunities for improvement, and optimize future events for an exceptional attendee experience.Anticipating and mitigating potential risks related to events. Developing contingency plans and safety protocols to address unforeseen disruptions.What You'll Need10+ years of experience in B2B marketing or event management with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with users and leadership.Capable of leading, creating, and presenting a long-term vision, and with a supporting strategy to achieve it. Equipped with a business focus and delivery approach that enables engagement at the executive level.Proven effectiveness in collaborating with cross-functional team members, approaching challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.Energy, flexibility, and aim to create real and measurable business results. Visionary mindset to align event goals and measurement of success with company business priorities and goals.Experience in executing integrated, ROI-driven marketing and lead generation campaigns.Self-starter with outstanding organizational and time management abilities, keen attention to detail, and thinking steps ahead in the process.A dedication to perfecting small details and exceeding user experience expectationsPrevious collaboration with sales teams, demonstrating an understanding of how to support and accelerate their efforts.A data-driven mindset, with experience in analyzing campaign results to derive actionable business recommendations and insights.Comfortability with multitasking, catering to various stakeholders, within a fast-paced work environment.Flexibility to travel up to 40% of the time and manage a remote work environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or move objectsAbility to endure long hours of standing or sitting onsite at tradeshows.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.The typical starting salary range for this role is: $128,200-$202,900 USD The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is: $153,800-$243,300 USD Additional Information - We Take Care of Our People
