Job Description

Creates and manages communications and change management activities associated with company programs and initiatives related to Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (QARA). Ensures ideal messaging, information cascading, engagement, and exposure to mainly internal audiences. Partners with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement complex, interconnected communications and change management plans that support company projects and initiatives. Contributes to divisional/functional goals, priorities, and orchestrates all types of communications/branding according to global communications frameworks. Partners across regions and functions and engages regularly with different cultures.

Job Duties

Develop and orchestrate a wide range of communications content and materials for different audiences; utilize various communications platforms, channels, and tools; and monitor communications for optimization and effectiveness.

Integrate various communications tactics and channels to effectively reach different audiences and stakeholder groups. (Memos, FAQs, talking points, speeches, presentations, website, videos, broadcast emails, intranet, enterprise social media, town halls, round tables, surveys.)

Draft and develop change strategies and communications plans.

Leverage a consistent change management methodology, process and tools to support the adoption of the enterprise-wide transformation.

Support the development and implementation of enterprise-wide change infrastructure.

Support related change training efforts such as design and delivery.

Monitor overall progress of the change implementation.

Facilitate project communication meetings.

Provide presentations and reports on projects and initiatives.

Manage external vendor relationships including regular points of contact, contract initiation and amendments, PO and budget, and vendor performance.

Apply the global communications framework, make use of best practices, communication toolboxes, and collaborate with corporate communications for optimal orchestration of divisional/functional communication.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Change Management, Journalism, English, Digital Media, Marketing, or equivalent knowledge and experience required.

Minimum 8 years of experience in Communications, ideally in a global or national communications environment.

Experience and understanding of change management is required.

Experience working in a matrixed organization is a plus but not required.

Experience with intranets, SharePoint, and the Microsoft 365 environment a plus, but not required.

Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.): Position will require working outside of standard business hours due to the Global nature of role. For example, global conference calls, preparing for and attending large meetings and events, and traveling.

Preferred:

Experience in a medical device, life sciences or another highly regulated industry is preferred.

Experience working and managing outside consultants is preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have a strong command of the English language and thoroughly understand developing/editing content for various internal and external audiences and channels.

Solid project management, multi-tasking skills and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work cross functionally and cross-culturally with a collaborative, agile and team-oriented style; and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

Good use of time management and ability to shift priorities.

Good technical expertise in utilizing and leveraging Microsoft 365 environment, intranets, and similar digital communications tools/channels.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $90,243.00 - $126,339.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
