In this leadership role, you will be responsible for shaping the overall design strategy, ensuring the delivery of exceptional user experiences, and driving innovation in our design practices. You will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align design efforts with business objectives, leading the design team to achieve outstanding results.

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute a comprehensive design strategy that aligns with the company's vision and business goals. Set the overall direction for the design team and ensure consistent and high-quality design across all products. Focus on long-term vision and near-term goals while balancing inputs from multiple partners.Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support for professional development and growth within the team.Design Excellence:

Oversee the design process from concept to final implementation, ensuring that all designs meet user needs and business objectives. Advocate for best practices in user-centered design and usability.Collaboration:

Work closely with senior leadership, product management, engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and user-focused product development process. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams.Innovation & Trends:

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Drive innovation within the design team, encouraging the exploration of new design approaches and methodologies.User Research & Insights:

Guide the team in conducting user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis. Leverage insights to inform strategic design decisions and improve the overall user experience.Design Systems:

Oversee the development and maintenance of scalable design systems and guidelines. Ensure that design standards are adhered to and evolve as needed.Stakeholder Engagement:

Present design strategies, concepts, and progress to executive leadership and other stakeholders. Incorporate feedback and ensure alignment with business goals.Quality Assurance:

Ensure the quality and consistency of design deliverables. Review and approve designs to maintain high standards of excellence.Required Skills:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with 3+ years of leadership experience.Advanced proficiency in design and prototyping tools.Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.Experience with creating and maintaining design systems.Exceptional visual design skills with a strong attention to detail.Outstanding project management and organizational skills.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of designers.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.We are a hybrid workplace that recognizes the importance of flexibility while valuing in-person collaboration and relationship building. You’ll be expected to fully comply with all policies and procedures related to security at the department and org wide level and exercise a ‘security first’ approach to how we design, build & run our products and services.We are excited to share the base salary for this position exclusive of fringe benefits, potential bonuses or stock-based compensation. Your base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
