User Experience Designer

Project Overview:As an interaction designer, you will define experiences supporting file import and scanner improvements for a key productivity platform. Collaborate with PM and Eng to execute initiatives, propose UX research and product analytics responses, and advance key metrics. Design solutions will span web and mobile platforms, integrating seamlessly with other workspace products.Responsibilities:Execute tasks under general guidance from managers and senior designers.Develop user journeys, mockups, prototypes, detailed specs, and presentations.Translate user needs, business goals, and tech constraints into design decisions.Partner with UX researchers to test and validate concepts, distill insights, and identify opportunities.Coordinate with product and engineering teams to define the product vision.Ensure high product quality during implementation phases.Influence project and product decisions by supporting key stakeholders.Address low-complexity design problems and escalate complex challenges as needed.Develop relationships within the team and participate in cross-team collaborations.Conduct peer reviews and ensure design consistency and quality.Skills/Experience:Mandatory:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in design or related fields.5+ years of experience in UX design, interaction design, wireframing, and prototyping.Proficiency with tools like Figma to create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.Experience designing for Android and iOS applications.Strong interaction design skills and knowledge of user-centered design methodologies.Experience collaborating with user research, product management, and engineering.Ability to communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale.Aesthetic sensibility and craftsmanship in design.Presentation skills and the ability to prepare effective presentations.Knowledge of product design principles and user-centric processes.Preferred:Familiarity with design thinking, running UX sprints and workshops.Experience with component-based design systems and accessibility best practices.Experience with enterprise software.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development
