Description

The AWS Global Campaigns team is seeking a dynamic, innovative Sr. Marketing Manager to lead our efforts in extending and tailoring global marketing programs worldwide. This role is pivotal in better adapting to local customer needs and significantly achieving integrated marketing goals across international markets.

The ideal candidate will spearhead the extension of high-impact marketing initiatives beyond North America, collaborating closely with regional stakeholders to ensure resonance and effectiveness.

You'll have the opportunity to develop global-to-local playbooks, customize content for regional audiences, and drive the success of major AWS events and campaigns across diverse international markets.

Key job responsibilities

Developing and implementing strategies to amplify marketing moments outside North America.

Collaborating closely with regional field marketing teams to customize global programs.

Creating compelling regional activities, content localizations, and program additions.

Crafting playbooks for regional activation of major global events like re:Invent.

Customizing content including customer stories, webinars, and whitepapers for local markets.

Activating programs across AWS events, industry events, and worldwide prospecting days.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

Experience leading global campaigns and or events for technology products

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or relevant field of study.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cloud computing or enterprise technology marketing

Familiarity with AWS services and solutions

Knowledge of marketing practices across EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and/or China.

Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems

Experience communicating results to senior leadership

Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools

Background in event marketing or management

Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies

Understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices

Experience in content creation or management for diverse audiences

Familiarity with agile marketing methodologies

Experience in marketing measurement and attribution models

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
