Job Overview

Position Schedule: Full-Time

The Design Strategy & Delivery team is seeking a Senior Design Lead and Business Design expert to lead cross-functional teams in the discovery, design, development, and delivery of innovative solutions for complex problems in strategic planning, process improvement, product design, and service delivery.

You will become a core part of the Design team and work with talented teammates to define all aspects of end-to-end experiences and business strategy.

The Senior Design Lead - Business Designer is pivotal in discovering and innovating within highly complex cross-divisional and enterprise-level efforts.

What you'll do...

Autonomously lead multidisciplinary teams through strategic frameworks and iterative delivery processes in pursuit of discovery and innovation to create experiences, services, business policies, strategy, and products.

Effectively communicate strategic opportunities, align with firm strategy/goals, define business cases, and develop strategic roadmaps.

Support teams in achieving clear problem statement definitions, defining big ideas and capabilities.

Pressure-test ideas through design research, test and learn methodologies, and value evaluation for ROI.

Lead alignment between design, business, and delivery workstreams to integrate business analytics, capabilities, and user and market research into the solutioning process.

Quickly build trusting relationships and provide leader-level coaching, performance feedback, and guidance.

Evaluate potential capabilities including change management, design thinking, process design, and project/program management.

Lead the development or improvement of firm-wide experiences to change the way the firm creates, captures, and delivers value.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:

Hiring Minimum: $113810

Hiring Maximum: $193785

Skills/Requirements

What you'll need...

Bachelor's degree in a field of Design, Science, or Engineering (or equivalent discipline e.g., Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Instructional Design, Computer Science, Digital or Interactive Media, Communications, Behavioral Science, Psychology, Anthropology).

8+ years of progressive design experience.

1+ years of direct or indirect people leadership experience leading multidisciplinary design teams to advanced levels of collaboration preferred.

Advanced skills in designing prototypes and using design tools.

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, building relationships at all levels of the organization, and effectively tailoring messaging and approach to multiple audiences.

Ability to quickly engage and inspire a diverse, multi-disciplinary team and lead/contribute to multiple large-scale efforts concurrently.

Expertise in design methodologies and systems thinking.

Knowledge of and experimentation with emerging design trends and technology related to one's discipline.

Change agility and comfort operating and flexing in ambiguity.

Experience with DevOps methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) is strongly preferred.

Experience in leading large enterprise-wide technology and/or strategic deployments is preferred.
