Role Overview:

As a Graphic Designer, you will play a vital role in creating visually-engaging designs and graphics that effectively convey complex information, concepts, and technical data, all which support the look/feel of the brand. As a strong communicator, you will work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and subject matter experts, rapidly iterating on ideas, addressing points of feedback, and finding compelling visual solutions. Project types include: slide decks, technical diagrams, illustrations, graphics, branding, layout and website design. This role is for a graphic design generalist and the ideal candidate will have past work experience in web, motion graphics, and deep understanding of Microsoft Office as a design tool.

Responsibilities:

Create visually-compelling graphics, illustrations, and visual assets for various projects, PowerPoint slide decks, proposals, marketing materials, and digital mediaCreate systems and templates that help support our business development teams and increase the quality of future projects.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, feedback, and technical details to ensure accurate and effective design solutionsTransform complex technical data and information into clear and engaging visual representations, such as infographics and diagramsExercise judgment and project management skills to balance priorities and communicate with teams to meet or exceed project deadlines; keep internal clients informed on projects and progressEnsure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all design work producedDevelop long-term design strategies, staying ahead of the curve on design technologies and how they can be applied to the needs of the teamPartner and embed closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to iterate on new concepts and effectively communicate messagingMinimum Requirements:

3+ years professional experience in Brand DesignBachelors degree in related fieldAbility to provide access to your portfolio demonstrating strong familiarity with a range of compositionsAbility to transform complex ideas into compelling narrativesA mastery of design, typography, color theory, illustration, composition, and formFluency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Understanding motion graphic principles, as well as web best practices and standardsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting prioritiesStrong communication skillsAbility to work onsite 5 days per week from our Hermosa Beach officePreferred Requirements:

Salary Range:

$85,000-$110,000/year

The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base compensation range and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits. If your compensation requirements fall outside of the range, we still encourage you to apply. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
