SUMMARY

The Senior Marketing Coordinator will lead overall promotional efforts for key programs at EAA. They will create strategies that reach organizational goals, lead campaign execution, and report on results. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage past experience and apply best practices across channels, including, but not limited to email marketing, website, print, social media, advertising, digital ads and trade shows/events.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage complex, multi-channel marketing projects with skill, professionalism, and expertisePartner with program managers to shepherd projects from conception to completion while providing direction and insight in line with the organization’s strategyResearch, analyze, and synthesize data for recommendations, plans and proposals; Offer conceptual direction for online and offline materials and/or campaigns that get resultsResponsible for marketing plans, creative briefs, content calendars, and performance data and reportsProficiency with time management, budgeting, and program management with internal and external stake holders, prioritizing projects across various departmentsManage relationships with program managers, internal teams and occasionally outside vendorsManage promotional and operational support of internal and external eventsWrite, proofread, and edit compelling promotional copy for a wide range of materials, including but not limited to advertising, direct marketing, websites, e-newsletters, and social mediaMake annual budget recommendations across channels to support program goals; manage to individual program budgets throughout the yearManage to EAA’s brand strategy and maintain brand integrity across all marketing initiatives and communicationsEmbrace and support the EAA mission and perform safe practices in the workplace and aviation environmentAll other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, business, or marketingFour+ years of experience with print and digital media creativeProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Strategic thinker who can develop and prioritize a range of potential solutionsResults-oriented team player with the ability to collaborate with team members to produce the greatest return on investmentOutstanding interpersonal skills; must have credibility, good judgment, honesty, and integrityDemonstrated ability to understand, learn, and use changing technologiesAbility to generate and deliver persuasive and clear verbal and written communicationsInitiative to solve problems with energy and a positive attitudeActive listening skills and the ability to identify areas of development, as well as create an action plan and deliver resultsAbility to maintain information in confidence and exercise good judgmentDemonstrate ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environmentAbility to thrive under pressure and deliver communications within tight deadlinesProven ability to operate independently with minimal directionTravel up to 5%PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Creative or agency background preferredFundraising or philanthropy experience preferredBackground in the aviation industryExperience with Tableau, Google Analytics, and AsanaBrand Management Experience
