Are you ready to create user experiences that matter and make people's lives better? Care.com is looking for a top-notch Sr. Product Designer to lead the definition and evolution of our design systems. The ideal person will be passionate about user experience and visual design with the ability to artfully realize systemic design solution in support of our desktop, mobile web, iOS and Android applications. What You'll Be Working On:Lead the design and evolution of detailed design systems that scale across Care's various platforms and lines of businessLeverage customer insights, business goals, and direct feedback to proactively identify opportunities to elevate the customer experience through design system strategy and executionIteratively test systemic design solutions, creating a strong foundation for designers and engineers to leverage across the organizationUtilize you expertise on Care's design systems to help elevate systems thinking across projects though active collaboration and evangelizing adoptionPartner closely with platform engineering teams from initial design to production rollout of new componentsDefine UI/UX specs that clearly communicate component requirementsBuild for accessibility upfront in the design process, and advocate for inclusive experiences across platforms.Proactively solicit feedback from partners, peers, and stakeholders to continually improve Care's design systemsWhat You'll Need to Succeed:

5+ years of professional UX design experience building and evolving design systems, as well as shipping end to end product features with complicated flows, multiple scenarios and edge casesOnline portfolio of consumer facing design systems work, demonstrating a keen eye for visual and interaction UI detailsStrong experience working with (and simplifying) complex systems that span multiple products and build on top of an existing design systemStrong storytelling, communication, and facilitation skills to help drive alignment and adoption of design systemsAbility to think strategically and connect design system work to the broader goals of the business and needs of Care's customersBe self motivated, with the ability to proactively surface opportunities and drive projects to completion without close supervisionAbility to coach more junior team members on adoption and utilization of our design systemsExpert level proficiency in Figma, prototyping, and user testing toolsExpert in navigating and collaborating across an agile, cross-functional environment that spans multiple teams, geographies, and business units

Salary Range: $118,000-$150,000

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position.

Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.

The range listed is just one component of Care.com's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
