Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing plays a pivotal role in driving our global marketing efforts, collaborating closely with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to develop and execute strategic objectives aimed at achieving Kreg’s overarching objectives. This position leads efforts to enhance brand visibility and engagement while consistently exceeding our marketing targets. Instrumental in understanding the voice of the customer, the Director shapes marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience. Additionally, this role is instrumental in establishing and achieving performance benchmarks aligned with our global business objectives, championing a customer-centric approach that authentically reflects our brand promise in the marketplace.

So, What’s the Gig?Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote and enhance brand visibility across international markets. This includes both traditional and digital marketing channels.Develop and retain a high performing team of marketing leaders ensuring collaboration, communication, and a strong understanding of the business and voice of customer.Responsible for developing brand awareness strategies, budgets and KPIs to grow the Kreg Brand’s market presence.Responsible for the strategic development of brand positioning, naming, logo development, and program launch for the Kreg brand.Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing, to drive website traffic, generate leads, and increase sales.Develop strategy and execution for our ecommerce platforms to deliver improved customer shopping experience, sell through and deliver growth targets.Lead the creative team to develop compelling marketing collateral that effectively communicates the value proposition of our products. This includes advertisements, product videos, website content, and sales materialsResponsible for customer experience initiatives to ensure a seamless and positive experience at every touchpoint, from initial awareness to post-purchase supportCollaborate closely with product management to understand market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Ensure alignment between marketing strategies and product offerings to effectively meet customer demands.Partner with sales team to develop marketing campaigns and programs that support lead generation, customer acquisition, and sales conversion goals. This includes providing sales enablement tools and resources.Analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and optimize marketing strategies for maximum ROI.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing and woodworking to drive continuous innovation and maintain a competitive advantage.Responsible for marketing, digital, creative and e-commerce budgets.What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.8-10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the consumer goods industry or a related field.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics, with hands-on experience in SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.Understanding and experience with approaches to awareness brand building in the new media and digital space.Other Skills and Abilities We’re Looking For:
