Position Summary:Works with Marketing, Events, and Recruiting teams to support the promotion of Jackson Walker on social media and through client events. Creates engaging text, graphic, and video content for social platforms, showcasing Firm culture and values, attracting talented attorneys and business professionals, and enhancing the Firm's reputation. Supports the execution of Firm-hosted receptions, seminars, webinars, and other events. Tracks and analyzes social media performance and event-related metrics.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Specific duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

Social Media and CommunicationsDevelop high-quality graphic, text, and video content tailored for social platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and FacebookWork with Recruiting team to develop content highlighting Firm culture, values, and employee experiences to attract prospective attorneys and business professionals and promote available employment opportunitiesWork with Marketing and Business Development team to create content for business development initiatives across practice areas and industriesWork with the Marketing team, including the Graphic Designer, to ensure posted content aligns with the Firm's brand guidelines, visual identity, and voiceSchedule and publish content across social media platforms; maintain social media calendarMonitor social media channels for engagementTrack social media performance metrics and provide insights to improve engagement and reachMaintain employee advocacy tools, distributing content to be shared by attorneys and business professionalsMonitor social media trends, platform updates, competitor activity, and best practicesEvent Coordination

Work closely with Client Events Manager, Senior Client Events Specialist, and Digital Marketing Manager to create, edit, and maintain invitation, RSVP, and attendee lists using CRM / marketing automation systemsWorking with Graphic Designer and using available templates, support the creation, approval, and distribution of event invitationsSupport the creation of nametags and other event-related collateralSupport the creation, distribution, and analysis of post-event surveysProvide post-event data to department managers and attorneys, including analytics data from CRM / marketing automation systemsCreate content to promote events using social media channels, website, and internal communicationAct as on-site contact for events; some travel requiredAdministrative Duties

Track the status of assignments and deadlines within the department project management systemCoordinate with outside vendors for various services as directed by departmental managementAssist other members of the department as neededPerform general office duties and administrative tasks as directed; serve as back up for primary responsibilities of other department membersAssist in maintaining department files and tracking departmental activities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

BA/BS; degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or Communications preferred; experience a plusExceptional written and oral communications skills needed with adaptability to produce work in the firm's brand style and voiceMust be highly organized and able to manage multiple concurrent projectsMust be adept at producing marketing collateral quickly, including ability to meet same day deadlines as neededMust be detail-oriented, work independently (but as a team player); possesses excellent presentation and communications skillsMust have knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook) and related employee advocacy and engagement toolsMust be computer literate, proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel; CMS experience (WordPress preferred), CRM experience, experience with marketing automation software, and basic HTML coding experience a plusStrong design skills with experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Express, or similar tools preferred; video editing experience a plusMust have basic familiarity with marketing analytics toolsMust have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with attorneys and staff at all levels and in all departments. Must be comfortable interacting with a variety of personalities with a client-service-oriented attitude and dispositionWork occasionally requires more than 37.5 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position; may require irregular hoursPhysical requirements are:

Must be able to lift light weights such as files and boxes (10-30 lbs)Dexterity with hands and fingersGood hearing and clear speaking voiceSighted
