We have an immediate need for a contract Designer, Data Visualization to join a leading financial automation software organization. Our client is seeking a Designer to develop visually appealing and impactful infographics and data visualizations for educational and informative marketing content.
Location: San Jose, CA (Remote)
This job expects to pay about $70 – 88 per hour plus benefits. Hours are projected to be 15 hours per week.
What You Will Do:
Partner with SEO and Creative teams to convey complex information in clear and compelling infographics, charts, stories, and narratives in-line with the organization’s brand design guidelines.
Build/maintain a library of infographics for multiple use-cases such as eBooks, webinars, blog posts, and more.
Provide occasional design development for related marketing campaigns, promoting informative content via templated digital ads and social media.
Distill complex information into visually clear and concise graphics for multiple audiences and platforms.
Interpret strategic briefs, evaluate creative approaches in-line with business needs, propose design concepts and approaches, iterate design execution in-line with stakeholder feedback, finalize and deliver creative assets.
Understand and follow design brand guidelines, and continually evolve design bar approach in a manner that is consistent with the brand.
Efficiently manage personal time in order to deliver work that is error free and on deadline.
What Gets You The Job:
Must have a deep portfolio of experience designing clear and appealing infographics, charts, and graphics including a brand ad and an infographic that relates and aligns with brand guidelines.
Must have strong experience with charts and graphics.
Experience with high level financial topics, from AR to AP to accounting.
Excellent communicator, collaborator, and problem solver with a high attention to detail and commitment to design craft.
Proficient in graphic design software and tools, including Figma.
