Architect, Building Designer, or Interior Designer
with a passion for crafting beautiful, sustainable homes, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:Conduct property research using local planning departments and online resources.Maintain effective client communication through meetings, emails, texts, and phone calls.Skilled in CAD software, preferably Chief ArchitectUnderstand and communicate material types and high-performance building methods.Perform site measuring and simple photography.Draft as-builts, concepts, plans, and details for complete drawing layouts.Research and understand structural and finish building materials.Create permit-ready drawings and all details/documentation needed for construction.Familiarity with architectural styles and eras, building codes, and standards.Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and interior/exterior residential surfaces.General understanding of the role of energy modeling in design.Create materials selections and finish schedules.Ridiculously Organized!Minimum Qualifications:Dependable, presentable transportation and a valid driver's license with an excellent record.Verifiable references from previous employers and clients.5 years of verifiable experience in design development for significant remodels and custom homes.A digital portfolio with examples of your drawings and completed job photos.A brief description of your work, community involvement, and education.Compensation:Starting wage commensurate with qualifications and experience ($20-$30/hour).Benefits package includes Dental & Vision, Vacation, Paid HolidaysReady to bring your design expertise to a collaborative and innovative team?
