Graphic Designer

Norman Love Confections is looking to hire a Graphic Designer! As our company is growing, so is our in-house Marketing Department and we are looking to move our graphic design work from an external partner to an in-house team member. This individual will be responsible for creating materials and graphics that support our growth initiatives in the sales, retail and ecommerce channels. We are looking for a candidate who can utilize their passion for design and create beautiful and compelling content that showcase our ultra-premium products and align with our brand standards.Below are some of the core responsibilities for this position:Design and create various materials for digital and print mediumsImpart creativity while working within established brand standards and guidelinesSelect colors, fonts, images, and layouts appropriate for medium and audienceDetermine voice and messaging for graphic design piecesEnsure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality productAdvise best practices and optimizations throughout design projectsWork with a wide range of media and graphic design softwareEstablish creative direction for the company within brand guidelinesManage multiple projects within design specificationsQA design for errorsManage intake of creative requestsManage review, edit and approval process for design materialsAn ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skill sets:Bachelor's degree in a creative field preferredProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required; primarily Illustrator, InDesign and PhotoshopExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMinimum of two years experience in graphic designAttention to detailPortfolio of work with a wide range of creative projectsTime management and organizational skillsKnowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and webExperience with both print and digital mediaAt Norman Love Confections we offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.
