Signs Now in Gladstone is looking for a full-time, in-person Graphic Designer/Production to join our team. Primary duties include a combination of graphic design, running printers, and manufacturing signs. Installation experience is also an advantage. We are looking for individuals with a positive outlook, great client focus, personal growth, a trustworthy character, and respect for others to become a long-term team member. Applicants with experience in sign production and a design background are preferred but NOT required. Our workplace follows standard Monday to Friday working hours. Responsibilities: • Design orders for clients to meet their specific requirements and needs. • Ability to communicate and work with customers. • Inspects jobs for accuracy before sending them to production equipment. • Work the production table producing the signs. Such as weeding, laminating, and applying graphics to substrate. • Manage tight deadlines and rush orders. • Prioritize jobs to balance multiple projects daily. • Maintain the POS system by updating order statuses. • Manage upkeep of printing and other equipment, including regular maintenance and cleaning. • Maintains accurate electronic and paper record of file storage for all proofs/renderings. • Follow safety protocols. • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • 2 Years or more experience in the sign industry is
preferred but not required
(production & design). • Ability to operate printers (we have HP Latex Printer), vinyl cutters, and laminator. • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a must. • Knowledge of Onyx Postershop or equivalent is a plus. • Strong spelling, grammar, and math skills required. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize. • Strong PC skills and internet, Facebook, and sign production software skills. • Have a “Can Do, Results Driven” Attitude – meaning you realize that our success isn’t in your design skills – but in getting the work out the door correctly and efficiently. • Resourceful – meaning you look for ways to figure out problems. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
