What You'll Do:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to support our senior designers in delivering exceptional design solutions. You will work as part of a multi-discipline team assisting in all phases of the design process of multiple projects. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of interior design, from concept development to project execution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in design principles, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces.

Core Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Assists in all phases of the design process

• Assists in conducting site visits and observations

• Performs Revit modeling and/or AutoCAD detailing

• Assists in preparing and attending client presentations

• Assists in the selection and documentation of FF&E

• Requests and reviews vendor quotes

• Places and tracks orders

• Assist with project installation coordination and travel preparation for team

• Travels to installs, both in domestic and international locations

• Assists with organization and upkeep of the interior design materials library

• Maintains knowledge of current industry trends by seeking out educational opportunities

• Attends various client, vendor, software, company training, tradeshows, and meetings

• Works traditional hours, but able to flex to weekends and nights during peak times

• Performs additional tasks as needed to support design team

• Reports to Interior Designer and/or Senior Interior Designer

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year Degree in Interior Design (or relevant work experience)

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with an architectural or interior design firm

• Proficient in Revit or CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office Suite

• Knowledge of LEED or Well Building Standards preferred but not required.

• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods, willing to travel internationally
