We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our Creative team. In this role, you will create innovative, high-quality designs aligned with The Paper Store’s brand standards, fostering creative excellence within the team. Under the guidance of the Art Director, this role will be responsible for designing a wide range of collateral including but not limited to catalogs, direct mail, in-store signage, flyers, social media imagery, brand logos, postcards, brochures, emails, and web assets. Experience with catalog production and/or overseeing photoshoots is a plus. The Graphic Designer reports directly into the Art Director.

Be a brand ambassador for The Paper Store.Deliver on-brand design assets that support the strategic goals of The Paper Store brand.Ensure that our creative assets remain cutting-edge and ahead of our competition.Create and execute high level design projects such as catalog/direct mail design from photography vignette concepts, page layouts, text treatments, through pre-press approvals.Create innovative and compelling sales and branding digital assets including but not limited to website imagery, emails, and digital and social posts and ads.Work with the Art Director to support the production of compelling marketing pieces that accurately portray the selling attributes of the merchandise, visually reflect the brand, and drive sales.Deliver beautiful, high-caliber imagery to support our in-store merchandising, marketing and emails.Provide support during photo shoots as necessary to ensure projects meet the required standards— styling products as needed.Contribute to elevating the overall brand aesthetic by working closely with the Art Director and Senior Graphic Designers to ensure brand consistency for The Paper Store and its sub brands.Create private label brand hang tags, labels, and packaging designs.Work collaboratively with members of The Paper Store marketing team, design team, photo studio, and buying department.Participate in a positive, productive, and creative work environment.JOB REQUIREMENTS:

3 years of experience in a Graphic Design roleBA with a key focus on Graphic DesignSolid knowledge of photo retouching, page composition, typography with eye for detailVideo editing and stop motion graphics experience a plusRetail/fashion editorial experience preferred—ecommerce experience a plusAbility to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, teamwork-based environmentStrong communication skills – in writing, verbally and through presentationsStrong technical skills, CS5 or above – strong proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and IllustratorPositive, collaborative, flexible, and energetic attitude a mustAbility to work 3+ days/week at the Corporate Office in Acton, MAProfessional presentation in attire, demeanor, and appearance
