Job Description

The Associate Design Manager will be responsible for assisting the Design Manager(s) with multiple new retail construction projects, relocations, pop-ups, and refreshes of existing stores. This position is responsible for the entirety of assigned projects. The Associate Design Manager will help ensure there is a seamless transition from initial test fits to store opening, supporting Design Managers on the design phase, project management and construction phase to meet Vuori's quality standards and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

What you'll get to do:Assist the Design Managers in developing and tracking project milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.Management of smaller scale projects such as pop ups, refresh or facility design initiatives.Assist in the design development of projects from inception through completion, including but not limited to store layouts, storefront design and renders, finish selections and drawing set reviews.Work closely with Visual Merchandising, Operations and Creative departments to ensure each project meets the Vuori brand standard.Create photoshop renderings and sketch up models to assist in the preparation of weekly design presentations.Track and ensure timely delivery of weekly reports by our consultants and outside Vendors.Create photoshop renderings and sketch up models to assist in the preparation of weekly design presentations.Organize and maintain project records, schedules and sample reviews.Represent Vuori to external partners and stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, etc. on a variety of issues related to project design, development and delivery.Coordinate with outside vendors to ensure accuracy of FFE per established project schedules.Project coordination with vendors, cross functional teams and LandlordsMaintain and monitor a set of design standards and implementations in co-ordination with our consultants.Facilitate the timely completion of project proposals from external consultants and vendors, and provide the reviewed invoices to the Finance and Operations teams.Who you are:

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Architecture, Interior Architecture or Interior Design.4+ years of design and project management experience, ideally in hospitality or retail field.Proficient at AutoCAD or Revit, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, Sketchup and Microsoft Office suite.Ability to work on multiple projects with tight and shifting timelines.Ability to read and prepare architectural drawings and details if required.Detail-oriented, organized and enjoys problem solving.Ability to manage shifting priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Enjoys working both independently and collaboratively as a team. Is self-motivated, intelligent and efficient.Has a passion for all things design related.Able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, management and outside vendors.Ability to work with autonomy in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Knowledge of FFE schedules and design drawing set procedures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills to drive continual improvement.Must be able to work a remote or hybrid schedule with monthly in-office days when required.Creative problem solver able to quickly identify and resolve critical issues.Entrepreneurial minded, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of retail related ADA compliance, sustainability and LEED certification a plus.Additional Information

The salary range for this role is $75,000 a year - $90,000 a year.
