Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.Your New Role…The Director, Product Management & Production Operations will be responsible for executing plans related to the design, development and implementation of processes and products across film development, production, marketing and distribution that leverage data and subject matter expertise. You will adapt tools and analytical processes that consolidate data and analytical approaches that support key investment decisions for the Motion Picture Group (MPG) as well as more effective production and business practices. By championing a data-driven culture your work will enable the transformation of manual processes to optimize efficiency of end-to-end processes across the Motion Picture Group. You will work with other Analytics and Insights leaders in the MPG to keep WBD at the forefront of innovation in all aspects of our business.Your Role AccountabilitiesProduct Management:

Support the design, requirements definition and implementation of analytical applications and tools. Maintain the product roadmap for the MPG. Socialize the roadmap and ensure it supports the current and future needs of the MPG. Develop comprehensive briefings and present critical project updates and strategic insights to the executive management team.

Analytical Framework Leadership:

Work towards the adoption of common analytical frameworks and metrics that simultaneously support the objectives of specific departments as well as the overall MPG. Support the creation/adoption of methods that unify overlapping assessments while addressing the nuances required by different departments.

Production Operations:

Lead product innovation for motion picture production operations efficiencies and insights by developing requirements for improved or additional capabilities.

Content Investment Decision Support:

Adapt or create tools and analytical processes that unify data and analytical approaches for film greenlight, and moviegoing audience-activation potential.

Change Management:

Support change management activities and ensure business-as-usual operations plans are in place to support successful adoption of the new ways of working.

Cross-Regional Insights:

Foster collaboration across regional boundaries to ensure alignment and integration of analytics initiatives. Work towards organic incorporation of global and regional assessments for content decisions.

Foster Collaboration:

Work to create a unified (non-siloed) culture and practices based on sharing of data resources and collaboration on common approaches to methods and insights generation.

Qualifications & Experience…Education:

Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably within the entertainment or media sectors.

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced skills in SQL, Python, R, and other analytics tools. Demonstrated ability to work with adjacent technology teams on solution delivery.

Analytical Expertise:

Superior analytical capabilities with a proven track record of leveraging data to influence business decisions. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse types of data, analytics and insights approaches and teams.

Industry Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of the motion pictures industry and current market dynamics. Experience working in or with entertainment studios.

Leadership:

Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a team to achieve excellent results.

Product Development:

Demonstrated ability to manage data/analytic product development lifecycle. Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders to create and plan for the change management required to launch and ensure success of initiatives.

Organizational Leadership:

Demonstrated ability to coordinate and collaborate with leadership and stakeholders on understanding gaps in products and processes, ideating and implementing new products and processes.

Communication:

Exceptional communication skills. Facility incorporating complex data into accessible stories/summaries, tailored to specific audiences needs and level of experience.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $145,250.00 - $269,750.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
