We dream in over 35 languages and share one mission – to engineer experiences that amaze.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Principal Designer of the Personal Systems business at HP, you’ll be an instrumental member of HP’s global team of designers responsible for developing iconic products and experiences. This position is a lead role in design with focus on setting design & experience strategies across product categories. In addition to core responsibilities, this individual will also have a unique opportunity to lead exciting new product categories for HP.Success in this role requires solid experience in developing world-class consumer electronics. Applicants for the role need to have a history in crafting design solutions at a portfolio level and demonstrate design thoughtfulness that scales beyond the aesthetics of the hardware to incorporate digital, physical, and services to complete the experience of the product as it relates to the intended customer. You’ll demonstrate holistic solutions that are grounded on research-based insights.The role of Senior Principal Designer will be supremely collaborative. Achieving goals within the greater HP design organization will require guiding experienced designers, working closely with trend forecasters, advance engineers, and human factors specialists. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $143850 - $221550 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
