You know how to partner with Creative Directors to define the work; and Art Directors and Copywriters to deliver the end product.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Partner with Creative Directors and Project Managers to define intent, brief teams, and deliver marketing that cuts through the noise.
Manage projects from start to finish and be a creative leader amongst a team of Art Directors, Graphic Designers, and Copywriters (including a mix of full-time associates, contractors, and agencies).
Collaborate with marketing strategists and internal business clients to positively influence marketing strategy and the customer experience.
Use evidence and data to ground your creative decisions.
Demonstrate expert knowledge of advertising and marketing trends and translate business intent into creative strategies and executions that market products effectively.
Present and influence with a convincing and inspiring style to increase buy-in and open the door for new opportunities—both for your team and department.
Mentor and build expertise in your craft, whether copywriting or art direction with your peers and team members.

Basic Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience leading creative teams or large bodies of work across cross-functional teams.
Portfolio of your creative work.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
At least 3 years of experience in copywriting/copy editing (preferred) or art direction.
Experience in one or more of the following marketing areas: B2B, Experiential, Performance, or Direct Response.
Experience in the financial services industry.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $118,700 - $135,400 for Principal Associate, Brand Copywriter.
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
