We are seeking a Sr UI/UX Designer for a 100% remote opportunity to join a company that specializes in cell therapy by providing personal biobanking. This role is a 6-month contract to hire and requires full-stack experience and a strong portfolio.

This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to design experiences that showcase the client’s unique service and help fulfill the mission of empowering people to live longer and healthier lives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for consumer-led design, technology, and health and is excited to deliver best-in-class products and experiences. This role will report to the Head of UX.
We require someone with leadership experience who can work with cross-functional teams, but also roll up their sleeves and produce. They should understand design processes and best practices, hands-on design execution, along with strong professional communication & presentation skills. The client’s culture is fun and fast-paced with a focus on collaboration and teamwork, and they are seeking someone who can not only be comfortable in that environment but also help expand and improve it. This role will require driving delivery, design process, and structure.Qualifications:
7-8 years of experience in a UX role with proven leadership experience and tactical experience in UX/interaction designKnowledge of trends and best practices in user experience design; understanding of interface guidelines and app frameworksPassion for creating outstanding and intuitive user experiences for scaled audiencesProactive, disciplined, innovative, persistent, and able to manage multiple projects in a highly energetic environment.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsResponsibilities
Develop information architecture, site maps, wireframes and workflows for user-facing digital products to create solutions to complex interface and interaction design challengesCollaborate with all relevant stakeholders including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Operation and Science/Medical teams to translate business requirements into user experiencesMaintain a deep understanding of customers’ needs, the product and the competitive landscape.Lead prototyping and user testingWork with a team of internal resources, external resources and key partners, as well as lead cross-department communication.Emphasis is on UX strategy, but a background in visual creative design is a plusEmployment Terms 6-month Contract, Remote
