You have the perfect balance of skills to drive projects forward, make it happen, and be able to harness the creative energy of a creative team towards the end goal. You have experience with shepherding designs from initial ideation, through rapid iteration, to pixel-perfect implementation. You should have a passion for usability, an eye for visual consistency, and the ability to synthesize complexity into its essential parts. You are an effective diplomat with strong communication and organization skills who is willing to advocate for the design position in the face of senior balancing points from Product Management, Design and Engineering leadership. “World-class” is the bar and you have the desire to take us there!ResponsibilitiesManage, mentor and coach a team of skilled designers to deliver high quality workExperience working across product R&D through the lens of the Design SystemIdentify and prioritize usage scenarios through customer research and competitive analysisDesign and build functional prototypes, and path towards Dev ready executionStrong partnership with engineering and product management to drive shared vision and execution of product plansDeliver UX vision, along with a plan for evolutionary, iterative updates, that actualize the larger vision over timeRequired QualificationsDegree in human-computer interaction, interaction design, visual design, or equivalent work experience10+ years of experience in designing world-class software5+ years of experience in managing multiple designersExpert knowledge of user-centered design principlesExperience in design and developing Design Systems at scaleFluency and expertise with Figma, and industry standard design toolsDepth of understanding in modern UI Frameworks (e.g React)Solid portfolio of work spanning multiple projectsExperience with UX for enterprise software products, channels, or marketplaces a plusExperience working with agile development teams (agile/scrum/kanban)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and collaborative skillsBase salary range: $167,826 - $252,174. Employees may also be eligible for bonuses, stock options, and other forms of compensation. The above represents total expected compensation for this role.
