The Weitz Company is hiring a Marketing & Proposal Coordinator to join our Florida office! This role is responsible for drafting and assembling proposals, marketing materials, and presentations. The Marketing & Proposal Coordinator will be the brand standards champion and will collaborate with Business Development and Marketing to ensure proposals, marketing materials, and communications represent the company's core values, culture, and align with our strategic direction. This role is perfect for someone with a marketing background who is excited about the commercial construction industry.

What You'll Do:

Understand and follow established marketing processes, systems, and templatesEnsure internal and external marketing material design and messaging reflect brand standards and marketing strategyExecute marketing campaigns and initiatives alongside Business Development, Marketing and project team membersCollaborate with various departments to assemble requisite information for pursuit proposals, qualification statements and project narrativesSupport proposal and presentation process by reviewing requests for proposals (RFP) requirements and offering writing, design, and research assistance; identify needed material, narratives, graphics, and charts for technical and price proposalsParticipate in proposal development meetings to discuss status and challenges, review outstanding items, and identify opportunities for improvementMaintain current project sheets, personnel resumes and headshots, and local project photographyEnsure CRM system is current; update project and pursuit information as neededCreate unique content for social media and identify opportunities to further promote the companyAssist with local public relations and communications activityCollaborate with Florida business unit leadership to facilitate internal and external events (i.e. client and subcontractor parties, award banquets, association panels) while attending as neededSupport and maintain local office marketing activities such as booth and promotional items, award submissions, advertisings, mailings and meeting reportsWhat We're Looking For:

Experience:

Previous marketing internship or professional marketing experienceKnowledge of Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is a plus

Skills:

Creative and able to work both independently and in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and a high attention to detailHigh level of professionalismMulti-tasker who is deadline focused and solution driven

Technology:

Proficient in basic computer software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookAdobe Creative Cloud (InDesign)CanvaAbility to learn specific job-related software upon hire
