Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Global Brand Communications – Public Relations, the Associate Manager, Global Brand Communications -Public Relations will support bringing the brand voice to life through thoughtful storytelling and strategic PR efforts, events, and initiatives. This person will help plan and execute PR strategies to meet global brand initiatives and contribute to HOKA’s brand and product messaging to media. This individual is passionate about creating strategies that are bold and unexpected and has an enthusiasm for building an emotional and authentic connection with the HOKA consumer.Working directly with the internal Global Brand Communications team, this role will also have high levels of communication and relationship management with various cross-functional departments. This role will assist in managing media relations including: interview requests, media outreach and the day-to-day relationship with the performance and lifestyle PR agencies. Your ImpactThe primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:1. Support the development of the overall PR strategy for HOKA, including media relations and communication of key brand moments, partner opportunities and product launches2. Collaborate on PR planning for seasonal initiatives, driven by strong industry knowledge and relevant trends3. Assist in the management of Lifestyle and Core PR agencies. Collaborate with team on leading weekly agency calls, briefing agency partners on seasonal strategies, brand moments, and product launches and manage the workflow of project execution4. Oversee PR day-to-day needs by maintaining the PR master calendar, reviewing and routing press materials, interview requests, and award submissionsWho You AreProficient in Microsoft ApplicationsStrong written and verbal communication skills to professionally and effectively interact with internal and external teamsProven track record of successKnowledgeable in current earned media trends and the broader editorial landscapeExperience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting prioritiesHighly motivated, a team player and motivated self-starterAbility to use independent judgment in performing all duties of the positionAbility to travel internationally and domesticallyHighly intelligent, self-direction and self-confident leaderWe’d love to hear from people withBachelor’s degree minimum related to Marketing or CommunicationsMust have at least 5 or more years of experience in Public Relations and Communications, or marketing, in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentProven success at multitasking in a fast-paced environmentExperience in writing, editing copy, press releases, and media alertsMust have excellent communication, interpersonal, project management and organizational skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPointProven, successful track record in effective process, project, budget and team managementShould have a positive, energetic working styleStrong Understanding on PR metricsStrong familiarity of and passion for PR, with an eye towards innovationPassion and knowledge for the running and fitness culture and industryWhat We'll Give YouCompetitive Pay and Bonuses -

$85,000 - $95,000The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
