Integrated creative vision and execution:

Champion creative for both the agency and its clients. Fervently advocate and educate on the role of creatives in any modern communications/advocacy campaign. Be a creator, energizer, and evangelizer.People first leader:

You must be able to motivate and mentor staff in the creation and delivery of high quality innovative work. Understand the importance of human capital and work collaboratively to nourish and grow the careers of their staff.Interdepartmental connector:

Excellent relationship skills; good listener; respect the expertise of others; ability to motivate and generate effective action through all levels of the organization. Build strong relations with account staff, managing directors, and SVP account leads across the agency. Comfortable in the role of teacher, trainer, and mentor across the entirety of the agency.Strategic council:

Ability to succinctly provide sound strategic rationale for creative/digital strategies both internally and externally. Bring an enthusiastic approach to developing strategies and solutions equally to clients and the agency—envision, lead or implement as the situation requires.Cultural proponent:

Collaborate and lead key agency marketing and visibility efforts including but not limited to ensuring best in class practices on agency owned digital assets.Serve as a critical part of a leadership team focused on driving deeper integration of services and offerings for agency’s clients.Consistently provide leadership and a strong point of view on how the agency solves its client’s communications challenges against the backdrop of an ever-shifting media landscape.Take an active role in business development activities (cultivation of prospects, pitch preparation, participation in pitches).Oversee all client creative work to maintain a high level of excellence and client satisfaction.Manage staff driving best practices, identifying areas for development and ensuring agility and collaboration with all other departments.Maintain knowledge of current trends and inspiration around design and push yourself and your team as creative thinkers.Seek professional development opportunities for team members.Be able to outsource, negotiate and partner with third party service providers such as developers, media buyers, programmers, video production, copywriters, and designers.Management of department budgets as well as overall team utilization rates.Must haves:

A strong builder mentality and desire to set the direction for the vision and manage the future for the agency’s integrated creative & strategy practice.Strong experience in leading the development and implementation of integrated campaigns in the communications space.Experience in building creative and digital services and offerings in an agency setting and stewardship of the process to support the development of those services and offerings.Confidence and not being afraid to challenge your clients and colleagues when you think it’s possible to dream bigger and ask the difficult questions. Should have excellent presentation skills and ability to command a room when sharing creative work.A curiosity for the world at large. Not only does it provide inspiration but also empowers better communications and conversation.Exceptional portfolio demonstrating experience with strategic planning, beginning-to-end conceptual ideas, and visual design and branding.Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Understanding and ability in After Effects is a plus.
