Our prominent financial Credit Union client is seeking a stellar Digital Designer to join their team on a hybrid basis in Richmond, VA!

Our client was founded in 1928, originally as State Employees' Credit Union. Through the decades, they have created financial products and services to help guide members in their financial lives and give them new knowledge and understanding of their finances. In everything they do, their work allows members to live with confidence.

We're hiring a Digital Designer to be part of our client's collaborative in-house creative team. This is a 12-month contract role for a Digital Designer who will be responsible for creating compelling digital content for multimedia projects and integrated marketing campaigns. We're seeking someone who is proactive and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively to develop effective, polished solutions that deliver on strategy.

What you'll do:Concept and deliver engaging and effective design solutions, with expertise in social and digital display adsCreate digital assets for multimedia projects, including video, motion graphics, and animationCollaborate with a Copywriter and other Creative team members to develop creative strategies, concepts, and design direction to produce the strongest creative work possiblePartner with Marketing Managers to distill complex briefs into engaging and effective design concepts that get measurable resultsBe a team player, able to work within budgets and tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentPresent and provide strategic rationale for creative ideas to our internal partners and nimbly make thoughtful revisions in response to feedbackWhat you bring:

2-5 years of digital design experience, in an agency or in-house creative roleExperience with financial brands is preferredProficiency in industry-standard software, like Adobe CS and FigmaAdvanced knowledge of motion graphic and video editing principles and software, like Adobe After Effects/Premiere ProProven creative ability with an exceptional portfolio website that includes digital and social content examplesStrategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture, as well as the production aspects of a jobAbility to present and sell creative ideas, with a solid understanding of marketing and advertising principlesExcellent time management and organizational skillsAccuracy and attention to detailStaying up-to-date with marketing/advertising trends and popular cultureAbility to thrive in a collaborative team environment

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $27 to $37 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
