Position Overview/Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager will have operational responsibility for inside sales functions within the firm and interface with outside sales, operations, recruiting and human resources. He/she will lead the capture process including proposal development for all regions and services. This includes working with the executive team, directors and operational managers to formulate fruitful business strategies to provide for growth and long-term success. APSI emphasizes that every employee contributes to our success in business development, growth, operations and customer service. Your role in the organization is vital in achieving these objectives. Hybrid work schedule- work from home 3 days/week.

Essential Job Functions:

Perform lead generation via websites and industry outreachWork with Area Managers/Directors to assess viability of clients, RFPs, pursuitsLead the weekly Capture Meetings (Monday mornings)Identify conferences to attend that meet the overall goals of the firmAttend conferences as neededOversee the development of strategies to maximize conference - including overseeing the process of presentations, booths, etc.Attend local organizational events as needed - provide follow-up on leads identifiedAttends and participates in management meetings (virtually and in person).Mentor all positions within operational area to ensure a high level of engagement and success.Provide recommendations for performance-based raises and bonuses for direct reportsResponsible for overseeing and directing Marketing Team and providing mentorship, direction & coordination for all marketing, communication, and proposal requirementsWork with the BD Proposal Coordinator, Marketing Specialist and Operational Managers on the preparation and completion of proposalsProvide leadership for interview preparationDevelop written materialProvide approval for all marketing materials to be presented on LinkedIn or the Company websiteProvide guidance for website updates and social media postsAttend marketing events and pre-proposal meetingsAssist with trade shows and training videosWork with Executives and OMs to review RFPs and provide insights as well as participate in Go/No Go decisionsOversee the development of win themesWork with marketing staff and Managers/Directors to develop proposal strategiesLead and serve on proposal review teamsPursue win and loss debriefs with the clientCoordinate with Talent Acquisition Manager on recruiting direction based on proposal needsWork with Executives, Recruiting and hiring Managers for communication strategies that contribute to finding and retaining talent.Provide Job Request Forms to recruiting team for any position needs in the marketing departmentAdminister to timesheet and expense approval of direct reportsRequirements:

Position requires minimum 10 years' experience within marketing in the Construction Management industryPosition requires minimum 3 years' experience in a similar managerial roleMUST be computer literate in Adobe Suite - including knowledge of InDesign and Microsoft Office SuiteMUST have excellent organizational, writing and communication skillsDeltek VantagePoint knowledge a plusKnowledge of Federal Market is a plus
