Job Description

The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating all activities related to independent living occupancy growth for the community, including team and personal sales performance, marketing, and public relations.

The Role:Plans, develops, and executes all aspects of community independent living occupancy development, including annual marketing plan and budget, in collaboration with LCS corporate staff.Fully executes the sales, marketing, referral, advertising, public relations, and community outreach objectives as outlined in annual marketing plan.Manages departmental objectives within annual Marketing budget.Supervises the performance of Residency Counselors and Marketing/Move-In Coordinator.Responsible for meeting personal and team performance goals by managing sales activity to ensure sales and closing goals are met.Ensures that all prospect inquiries are managed and that timely follow through is maintained in accordance with SalesFIRST standardsEnsures use of Salesforce to document all personal and team sales activity.Responsible to ensure utilization of the ExSell with LCS sales training process to conduct appointments with prospects, family members and key influencers (physician, attorney, financial advisor) to understand their needs, gather financial information, select a residence based on qualification criteria, and to secure deposit and move-in to community.Plans, organizes, and executes any community specific video content creation via One Day or other platforms.Communicates with prospects and other stakeholders in person and virtually via various platforms including but not limited to Zoom and FaceTimeEnsures timely and accurate input as appropriate into Salesforce, C3 Linc, or other community specific systemsPlan, lead and execute prospect events wither in-person or virtual.Maintains effective communication within the sales team and with community leadership team members.Interacts with all related disciplines, assuring that apartments are properly prepared for move-in and keeping all parties apprised of move-in dates.Understands and articulates community application of LCS Signature ProgramsStaffs the office to meet business needs which may include evenings, weekends, and holidaysStays updated about relevant operational, competitive and company information to respond effectively to prospect inquiries and community contacts.Assumes responsibilities for personal work areas and maintaining areas in a presentable mannerImplements Life Care Services Extraordinary Impressions best practices in the marketing office and influences hospitality focused environment throughout the communityAlways maintains a professional appearanceExperience:

Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate and present in person, in writing, and on the telephone. Must be an effective presenter with both large and small groups.A Bachelor's degree5+ years of sales experience or public relations experience necessaryDemonstrated competency in all Microsoft product including word, excel, PowerPoint and Teams.Demonstrated competency in the use of Zoom, FaceTime and other consumer facing digital Must be able to generate a warm, friendly and caring manner on first impressionMaintains working knowledge of regulations that impact the industry.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:

Normally works in well-lit, comfortable surroundings. Must be able to concentrate with frequent interruptions. Must be able to walk for up to 75% of the workday. Must be able to tour through the entire building including the ability to push an individual in a wheelchair. Must be able to bend and stoop and be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently.
