Ripley’s Myrtle Beach is currently seeking a creative and innovative designer who enjoys storytelling through transformative and unconventional designs. This is not a remote position.

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing and supporting the marketing and branding efforts for not only Ripley’s Aquarium but its many other attractions. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager, copywriters, and web developers to interpret needs, objectives, and strategic creative direction to create captivating designs that support the brand and amplify the product experience story.

Key Responsibilities:

Create dynamic graphic design across diverse projects and mediums, aligning with business objectives and goals.Collaborate with managers to ensure designs meet organizational guidelines and brand expectations, accurately convey concepts, and effectively showcase the company or client.Manage workload effectively, meet deadlines, adhere to budget constraints, and prioritize project implementation, while also being able to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.Facilitate communication between the Marketing Manager, Asst. Marketing Manager, and local vendors.Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and videoRequired Skills and Qualifications:

Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills2+ years of extensive experience across a variety of media (print, motion, web) including proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.Excellent communication and presentation skillsOrganizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDesire to continue building skill set with education and trainingAn amazing portfolio that wow’s even the toughest criticAssist all departments and attractions with special projects as needed or as directed by management.Strong creative thinking and ability to execute successful and compelling design solutionsPreferred Skills and Qualifications

2+ years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agencyProficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier Pro, Lightroom, Keynote, Figma, Microsoft OfficePhotography and video experience and proficiency with editing software preferredTeam player who is self-directed, detail-orientated, flexible, and able to multi-task in order to manage multiple projects with aggressive deadlines. Take ownership of their workPrevious experience in tourism and entertainment industry a plus.
