24-7 UK Soccer Academy is a professional sports organization that operates as the official trainers for the Association Football Club, Clippers Football Club, Castro Valley Soccer Club, Alameda Soccer Club and Piedmont Soccer Club. Our organization also operates year round camps and activities for youth soccer players of all ages.

Our mission is to develop a professional environment that inspires players, coaches, and communities to elevate the game of soccer.

PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team and help us grow to expand the impact our brand makes across the youth soccer community. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that includes communications to our partner clubs as well as marketing and promotion of our year round camps and activities through advertising, social media, email marketing, content creation, and event marketing. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who can develop innovative ideas to promote our programs and engage with our target audience.

This position will also be responsible for maintaining and tracking marketing budgets to make sure project funds are allocated correctly. This role will be responsible for understanding and reporting out success metrics, and leveraging centralized tools where appropriate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following but may be assigned additional duties as needed by the organization.

Strategy & Reporting:

Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with 24-7's business objectives and brand values.Work closely with 24-7's leadership team to ensure all marketing initiatives align with business goals and strategies.Work closely with 24-7's leadership to support growth of key initiatives including camps, indoor facility, brand relaunch, etc.Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in marketing, youth sports, and the soccer industry.Manage marketing contact database while growing online presence.Content Creation and Management:

Oversee updates and upkeep of the company website.Create and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, website, events, and print media.Develop copy and creative content that may include blog posts, infographics, social media posts, 24-7 and partner websites, email newsletters, white papers, and videos, to promote 24-7's programs and events.Create email marketing campaigns and editorial content to ensure a high open rates, click through rates (CTR) and conversions. Manage content management system which supports the publishing of web, ad, and email content as needed.Oversee creation of graphics for newsletters, 24-7 website, event materials, social media posts, and emails, webinars, training sessions, etc.REQUIREMENTS

In addition to an understanding of the game of soccer, candidates must possess superior organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent customer service.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.4+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the sports industry.Ability to attend events as needed; often on weekends.Strong Adobe photoshop skills are a plus.Strong project management and organizational skills.Exceptional written, verbal and listening communication skills with a can-do attitudeCreative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.Experience with social media marketing, email marketing, digital advertising, website management, event marketing, and content creation.Experience working with email, mobile and digital marketing programs.Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.Experience working with external agencies and managing deliverables.Detail-oriented person who can juggle multiple tasks.Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Photoshop, CanvaFunctional knowledge and/or personal experience with WordPressKnowledge of data analysis and budgetingTeam player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).PERSONAL QUALITIES

This position requires an individual who is interested in building 24-7's marketing program as an individual contributor. The ideal candidate is a motivated and organized self-starter, with strong attention to detail; while being able to liaise with internal partners across the organization. They must also be proactive and able to produce a high level of work within specific time constraints. They must be of high integrity and able to work independently and collaboratively with others while representing 24-7 Soccer in a professional manner.

COMPENSATION

Compensation consists of a competitive salary between $60,000 and $80,000 depending on experience level. Full-time exempt employees with 24-7 are also eligible for the benefit package which consists of:
