As we expand our footprint, we are looking for team members to join our current remote workforce across the US.JOB SUMMARYAs a Media Supervisor at April Six, you will achieve mastery in building and delivering client presentations, media planning, and the RFP process. You will develop strong communication skills and manage a team of 1-3 people. You will take ownership of client communications beyond campaign initiatives, including problem-solving and handling escalations. You will identify and address client issues, negotiate effectively with vendors and partners, and gain a thorough understanding of the April Six RACI and processes, enabling you to train Strategists on these. You will manage risk and contract values independently and be responsible for bringing in new vendors and stewarding new opportunities. Your role will involve generating revenue by keeping clients satisfied and continuously seeking cross-sell and upsell opportunities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlanning and Creation:Lead discussions around past media, future goals and current issuesLead audit work on a new client experienceGuide the partner identification process with support of strategistsOversee the development of RFPsKick off meetings with vendors to review RFPsLead client presentations and presenting media recommendations with the support of strategistsResponsible for approving the final buy recommendation, buy summaries, and campaign measurements prior to sharing with the clientsImplementation and ActivationManage all facets of the campaign execution by overseeing the account management and media teamsOversee campaign planning, optimization strategies and campaign performance success for a set of top tier client relationshipsOversee online creative traffic masters – gather ad specs to be shared with client/creative agenciesSign off on insertion orders (IOs) and change orders (COs)Work with Finance on PO creations for each pubReview and approve results decks highlighting the relevant learning gained and recommendations for future campaignsQA tracking of online programs – pacing, performance, etc.Approve and oversee optimization recommendationsTechnology and Platform knowledgeMastery of the tools that are used at various points in the media process (i.e. Google Campaign Manager, SimilarWeb, Demandbase, Looker Dashboard Studio, etc.)Ensure that Associate Strategists, Strategists and Sr Strategists are knowledgeable and trained on the tech stacks and tools used for all clientsThis includes ensuring they maintain their trainings and certificationsMarket KnowledgeStay up to date with emerging trends and identify areas of development within emerging marketsDo your own market due diligence to find new partners that we can bring on to clients (novelties and interests for your clients)Review pitch prior to taking on new client – ensuring consistent voice carried through to media plan, taking advantage of the newest tactics availableProvide consultative strategic direction to your accounts and identifying appropriate programs and services to meet client needsQuarterly /Annual attendance of Industry events (Virtual or in person)Management ResponsibilitiesManage the Media team and serve as a mentor providing guidance and leadershipGuide Media Strategist Associates/Media Strategist/Sr. Media Strategist in developing media plansDelegate and oversee responsibilities/assignments appropriate for team membersPromote positive working relationships within the department, the company and the vendor communityProvide strategic guidance to the media planning teamWorks closely with Associate Media Director to ensure proper process is in place with team membersESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTESMedia Strategy (Research/Planning: Brand, Demand, ABM, Conquesting)Testing Strategy (Optimization Strategy & Creative Tests)Media Activation (Trafficking, Tagging, Tracking, QA, Reporting)Data-driven media segmentation, buying and bid strategies (PPC, CPM, CPL, CPA Social)MarTech platform knowledge (Media, ABM, Web)Analytics concepts (web, social, pipeline, attribution)Presentation of ideas (Audits, media plans, Optimization plans)Written communications (Briefs, RFPs, client emails, internal slack and asana)Deck BuildingData literacy (Media plans and reporting)CollaborationCritical thinkingClient consensus building / workshoppingTime managementTeam training and task delegationMedia Process KnowledgeMarketing strategy (Budget planning, best practices)EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE6+ years of agency, brand, or ABM campaign execution experience and/or performing a relevant marketing role within B2B technology marketing.Book of Business Managed ($4-$7M annual budget managed with no oversight)Experience launching branding, thought leadership, lead generation and ABM campaigns and does not require supportManaged 1+ peopleWorked on 3+ brandsHas market knowledge of latest B2B trendsKnowledge of all major B2B platforms used and is able to train others on these systemsHas 2-3 years’ experience working directly with and managing clientsHas the ability to manage up and downBENEFITSCompetitive salary in the range of $85,000-$115,000.
