Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week.About the RoleThe Staff Product Designer, Core Member Experience, will shape the Hinge Health app's future by crafting features that cater to each member's needs, helping them overcome pain and reach their goals. Collaborate closely with experienced product design leaders and cross-functional partners, employing user-centered design principles to create intuitive experiences. Own the design of the member experience throughout the product development process, from helping to define requirements and translating user research insights into actionable solutions, to interaction and UI design, prototyping, and visual design. Ideal candidates possess a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to transform complex systems design challenges into simple and elegant user experiences. Create innovative and creative design solutions that turn complexities into elegant, efficient user experiencesBe a steward of great product design by ensuring solutions set high visual and interaction design quality standardsDefine product vision and strategy that creates emotionally engaging and easy to use experiencesLead the development and delivery of solutions that meet intended goals and create outcomes that positively impact key user and business metricsCollaborate with engineers, product managers, care team members, and other designers to ensure designs drive desired UX, business, and technical outcomesMentor and grow less experienced designers while evangelizing design practices and finding opportunities to elevate confidence in our work across the larger companyBASIC QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of product design experienceA portfolio demonstrating: shipment of multiple products successfully; strong expertise in applying interaction design patterns to solve complex workflows, as well as in visual design, information hierarchy, layout, composition, and typographyExpert understanding of visual systems and practices, including layout, iconography, typography and have a curiosity and eye for pushing visual design in interfaces forwardExperience in leading product design from opportunity development, to concept, to shipmentStrong facilitation skills leading groups through idea generation and decision making processesProven ability to communicate deep design thinking at all levels of the organizationStrong prototyping skills at multiple levels of fidelity and experience helping elevate prototyping quality and utilization across your teams in the pastThe ability to design and document user flows and design components at a system levelFluency with user research practices and ability translate insights into actionsBachelor's or master's degree in interaction design, industrial design, product design, service design, human-computer interaction, or equivalent experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
