As a UX Designer at Zipcar, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our member experience and driving the growth and retention of our membership base. You will focus on optimizing join and search conversion and designing new promotional and member reward experiences. What you’ll do:

Partner with our User Research team to understand the needs, preferences, and pain points of Zipcar members.Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.Collaborate with product managers and developers and iterate on designs based on feedback and technical constraints.Develop interactive and responsive designs that enhance the overall usability of Zipcar's digital platforms.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing.Communicate design concepts and decisions clearly to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into the design process.Work closely with developers during the implementation phase to ensure a seamless transition from design to development.Advocate for a user-centered design approach throughout the product development lifecycle.

What drives success for this role:

Bachelor's degree in Design or related field.Proven experience as a UX designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.Proficiency in Figma.Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate business goals into compelling and effective user experiences.Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and experience conducting usability testing.Experience with agile development processes and an ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
